Y Cwtch, meaning The Cuddle in Welsh, is a beautifully restored cottage rich with the stories of bygone times. An impressive beam reclaimed from the old Cymer Abbey frames the grand fireplace and traditional bread oven, while the cubby holes from the old waterwheel have been carefully preserved. A striking section of the wall is crafted from timber salvaged from a local shipwreck, adding to the cottage’s remarkable history. Today, Y Cwtch is a beautiful retreat where modern comfort meets over 500 years of history, surrounded by beautifully established gardens lovingly created by it’s previous owner, Pam.
